Designing an annual report that takes a step back in time.


 

A personal project exploring a special print edition of The New York Times’ Annual Report. Turning the regimented, grid-centric layout of the traditional newspaper on its head, this newsprint edition experiments with The Times’ classic typeface—literally breaking every rule in the book. Historic photography serves as a grounding nod to the paper’s history, balancing out the provocations made by typography, layout and line.
