Developing a brand and social media campaign for a bold new food podcast.


 

A team of incredible designers created Food x Design, a podcast that explores the intersection of food and design, featuring the people who are building the food systems the world will need in the future... right now. The goal of the podcast is supporting IDEO's efforts to convene new networks around important food challenges and topics. The team approached me with the exciting challenge of developing a visual identity and social media campaign for the podcast’s launch.

The Solution

An identity that leverages bold color and illustration as a window into the podcast’s topics, and brings levity and positive energy to its serious themes. The grid-based logo, or “cover” visually conveys the content focus of the podcast, whilst remaining a flexible framework for future IDEO podcast brands.

My Role

I lead ideation, sketching and execution of all identity artwork and illustrations from start to finish, consulting with the podcast team. I designed all campaign material and tailored to podcast platforms, social media and networking platforms, the IDEO website, etc.
